The hubbyapos;s bike didnapos;t make it to the shop until last night (broken shifter). Which meant, I didnapos;t ride all week. :( I canapos;t tell you how hard that was for me. It was...depressing... AND, the local H-D stated that *maybe* it would be ready on Saturday (no ride this weekend either??? NO WAY). So the man thought, letapos;s ride around the block. He rode the 4-wheeler and I took out my bike. Our neighborhood isnapos;t too small and itapos;s hilly and curvy, so it *can* be fun. It was fun. That should tell you my state of mind. I enjoyed riding around the block (about 5 miles). Granted it wasnapos;t a long ride and I didnapos;t get past third gear, but I did have the wind in my face, I did lean my bike, and I did do some tight u-turns. Gesssh... I am like my dog... Angel whereapos;s the ball (dog runs like a dog possessed with rabies)? After we got back we received a call from the H-D. The bike was ready for pick-up. Whew... It looks like we will be getting back to a normal riding schedule.
